After compact SUVs and the MPV segment have been gaining popularity, thanks to brands like Mahindra offering three-row SUVs at affordable prices, people are demanding big SUVs and cars that can accommodate their growing families. Brands are responding to these demands, and here we list some upcoming 7-seater SUVs and MPVs in the Indian market this year.
VinFast MPV7
VinFast is set to launch its third product, the MPV7, by April 15, 2026. This model stands out from existing VinFast models with its boxy, MPV-like design featuring:

- Split headlamps
- 19-inch wheels
- Connected LED tail lamps
- Ample features like a large touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, electronic parking brake, and disc brakes on all four wheels.
A lower-spec variant for the cab market is also expected. Both variants will share the same mechanics, with a 60.14 kWh battery pack delivering around 450 km of driving range, producing 201 bhp and 280 Nm of peak torque.
